Why We Created the Mobile Tidepool Website

Our partners at UCI helped us to develop our mobile tidepool website to help every visitor enjoy Laguna’s coastline responsibly and with a deeper understanding of the fragile ecosystems found here. With thousands of people exploring our beaches each year, we recognized the need for an accessible tool that guides visitors on how to protect marine life, plan their visit thoughtfully, and understand the natural treasures they’re experiencing.
